Student animation for University of Art and Design

Idea
My project explores the theme of metamorphosis through the unique biological traits of clownfish, which can change their sex from male to female during their lifetime. Using 3D modeling and color symbolism, the work conveys transformation, identity, and emotional storytelling with a dramatic narrative element.

The animation was made in Blender and rendered in Cycle mode. This method was used to convey the underwater effect. I also wrote music for the animation in Apple Garageband

Facts
1. Color – orange and white stripes
2. all clownfish are born male. They have the ability to switch their sex, but will do so only to become the dominant female of a group. The change is
irreversible.
